Basalt fiber chopped strand is formed on the basis of basalt fiber through special surface treatment. The fibers are coated with a (silane) infiltrating agent, which has good bonding with asphalt, and it’s a very competitive product to replace lignin fiber, polyester fiber and other additives for asphalt concrete, which can significantly improve the high temperature stability and low temperature of asphalt concrete.
