Our Chopped Strand Mat is a fine strand reinforcement material composed of E-glass cut fibers arranged randomly and bound with powder or emulsion binder. It is specifically designed for hand lay-up and continuous laminating processes. It is easy to manipulate and possesses outstanding moulding performance. Moreover, it enables rapid resin penetration and has a short strand wet out time. The mat also results in highly translucent finished laminates. Additionally, the fine strand input ensures that the fiber prominence on the surface of the finished laminates is extremely low. It is an exceptional reinforcement material for translucent roofing panels, chemical storage tanks, FRP pipes, boat hulls and decks, truck body panels, etc. We can also provide lightweight chopped strand mat.
